My name is Aaron Polowin, I am looking forward to another exciting year at the OJCS.  I was born and raised in Ottawa, having attended Jewish day schools from Kindergarten until Grade 12. I attended the University of Ottawa where I completed a degree in Criminology. I then graduated Teacher’s College at Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario.

I am a big hockey and soccer fan, I love watching live sports. I have attended many European soccer games, even the Euro 2016 semi-final between Wales and Portugal. My favourite soccer team is the World Cup winning French national team!  When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my German shepherd, Diesel, traveling and reading true crime stories.

I love teaching the French language and culture through games, activities and songs. I enjoy the family atmosphere at the OJCS, particularly the celebration of the many Jewish holidays on our calendar.
